Named after Saudi Arabia’s King Faisal. It was established in 1986 with cost of 120million USD. It is 6th Largest Mosque in terms of capacity and can have 300,000 worshippers. The mosque shaped like a Bedouin tent with four minarets using modern Islamic Architecture, the mosque remains symbol of friendship between the country of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

It is a viewing point at hill top situated at Margalla Hills from where visitors can view the city of Islamabad. It features parking area, cafeteria and many nearby trekking trails. The visitors also go to Monal Restaurant which is 15 minutes’ drive away from Damn-e-Koh and the city of Islamabad can be viewed from there as well.
